This intermediate-level course is designed to help users who are familiar with PowerPoint’s basic features take their skills to the next level.
By the end of this course, users should be comfortable creating graphs, charts and drawings in Microsoft PowerPoint. Learners will also understand and apply animation and transition effects and customise the Master Slides.

Course Prerequisites
It is assumed that the learner:-
has completed PowerPoint Essentials or have equivalent experience.

has an understanding and basic experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.

has mathematical literacy and communication skills at least at NQF level 2

has Mathematical literacy and communication skills at least at NQF level 1.

is competent at use a Graphical User Interface (GUI)-based presentation application to prepare and produce a presentation according to a given brief (ID 117923 - NQF level 2).

In Class or Virtual Class Based Learning
A technology mediated delivery method allowing campus based class or virtual class attendance, or a combination of both. Classes can be in the form of lecture based or mentored based.

Learners to arrive at the training venue from 08:00 in preparation for 08:30 starting time

Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the proof of payment or an official company purchase order.

For full day, on campus courses, Learnfast will supply you with a computer to use for training (if applicable),& tea/coffee and a full lunch. Catering is not included for On-Site training and laptops are available for hire at an additional cost if required.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be in writing and reach us via email at least 5-10 working days prior to the course commencement date. Full course fees will be retained for no shows.

Virtual learners are required to have a stable internet connection & a working headset available for sound purposes.

Module 1: Work with images, drawings and objects in MS PowerPoint
In this lesson, the learner will learn how to work with images, drawings and SmartArt. SmartArt is Microsoft’s intelligent way of creating diagrams.

Module 2: Customise master slides in a presentation
A slide master is the top slide in a hierarchy of slides that stores information about the theme and slide layouts of a presentation, including the background, colour, fonts, effects, placeholder sizes, and positioning. Every presentation contains at least one slide master.
