Home > Corona Virus Safety Measures
Dear Learnfast Customer,
We have noted the presidential address and calls for precautionary measures to fight the much-feared Coronavirus by all citizens of South Africa. We fully support this call and wish to pledge everything within our means to contribute to a healthy work environment, a healthy workforce and a healthier country.
Although we cannot close our corporate training campuses, we will be establishing measures to lessen the foot traffic in these locations and protect customers who still wish to attend on-campus courses. We will further ensure that training remains accessible to all customers via our virtual platforms
As such, the following measures have been put in place for all current customers booked for training at any of our campuses effective from 18 March ’20.
Training/Rescheduling
Hygiene
We are privileged to take such an innovative and unique approach. All the challenges we have faced in the past few years have allowed us to introduce new technology which we have implemented in our customers’ current environment and allows both our staff and customers’ flexible access, in order to ensure operations continue the least affected as possible.
Let us all contribute in the fight to get this virus under control. We urge you to practise all the guidelines as requested by the president.
Furthermore, we want to request that you watch the video in the link below, created by our content team, that will be released to customers. We also ask that you read the guidelines to better familiarize yourself with the virus and actions that can be taken.
Precautionary Measures
Any person returning home from other countries is requested to remain in self-isolation for 14 days, from the date of their return to South Africa, to monitor any potential signs of the virus. If any of the symptoms appear, a doctor should be consulted. Should you suspect that you have contracted the virus, it is necessary to get tested.
The results of the pathology test can take up to 48 hours and they are free of charge.
Do not walk into any healthcare facility without notifying the ER team beforehand as this potentially exposes other individuals to the virus Not all confirmed cases require hospitalisation, sometimes just isolation at home.
